EuroScan is an innovative laser technology detector that detects the maximum security measures of Euro banknotes. It was developed especially for the Euro , so that its effectiveness in detecting both counterfeits and authentications is total even when the notes are already damaged, avoiding false positive detection signals. As there is no mechanical transport of the note, it is impossible for the device to get stuck, a problem that is very common with other types of detectors when the note has to be moved.

Due to its characteristics, it does not require any type of special calibration or subsequent maintenance, except for external cleaning of the device.

The technology it uses is completely innovative, being immune to the apparent state of the notes, scratched areas, stains, crumpled, washed, torn or taped notes. With the rest of the detectors on the market, these states of the notes cause them to issue false authentications. The number of incorrect positive detections is zero, as long as the notes pass through the detector correctly, as explained at the end of this document.
